Medical Check Up or MCU is an examination carried out to determine overall health status through blood, urine and other biological specimens. You can use the Medical Check Up Service ("Service") only if you are of legal age based on the relevant applicable laws and regulations in Indonesia. In this Service, a child is considered as a person under 18 (eighteen) years of age. Children are not permitted to use or access the Services unless their use of the Services is authorized by their parents or guardians who agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions provided prior to using the Asa Ren Services. Any use or access to the Services by children who are not directly supervised by adults is strictly prohibited and violates the agreed Terms and Conditions.
The Service may not be available to any User who was previously removed from the Service by Asa Ren. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you have full right, power and authority to comply with the Terms and Conditions and to fully perform all of your obligations that you have performed. Furthermore, you further represent and warrant that you are not under any legal or contractual limitation that prevents you from using the Asa Ren Services.
You will be deemed to have read and agreed to the Medical Check Up Terms of Service. Therefore, if you do not agree to some or all of the Medical Check Up Service terms, please stop using the Service.
Medical Check Up Sampling
Sampling and Sampling of MCU Users is carried out in Home Service by Asa Ren Health Workers or Asa Ren affiliated Health Workers who are qualified and have certification.
User MCU samples taken are for blood ranging from 7-8 ml and for urine ranging from 30-40 ml or adjusted to the selected MCU examination.
The blood that is taken is through a vein.
MCU Service Users are required to fast: do not eat, do not take medication, do not drink colored drinks (only mineral water is allowed), and do not smoke, for at least 12 hours prior to MCU Sampling.
Users are required to provide information regarding the length of fasting, the drugs consumed, and the condition of the disease to MCU health workers.
The MCU sample includes the following examinations:
Routine hematology is a basic blood component examination that provides an assessment related to hemoglobin values, hematocrit, erythrocyte count, leukocyte, platelet count, and leukocyte type count, as well as calculation of MCV, MCH and MCHC values. This examination is a diagnostic support for a condition such as anemia, infection, and other bleeding disorders.
Total cholesterol is an examination of the total level of cholesterol in the blood, which consists of calculating the components of LDL, HDL and triglycerides. Examination of Total Cholesterol, LDL, HDL, and Triglycerides is a lipid profile examination that aims to determine the risk of arteriosclerotic heart disease.
LDL or Low Density Lipoprotein or LDL Cholesterol is an examination to assess levels of Low Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol, this cholesterol can be interpreted as bad cholesterol because it has atherogenic properties (easily attaches to the inner walls of blood vessels and reduces the formation of LDL receptors). LDL cholesterol can accumulate in the walls of blood vessels, so it is at risk of causing narrowing of the blood vessels and causing other diseases.
HDL or High Density Lipoprotein (good cholesterol) or HDL Cholesterol is an examination to assess levels of High Density Lipoprotein cholesterol. HDL can be interpreted as good cholesterol because it functions to prevent narrowing of blood vessels caused by lipids. HDL helps in repairing the damage caused by LDL.
Triglycerides or Cholesterol Triglycerides are a component of lipids found in the blood. Triglycerides have a function as a reserve energy that will be used by the body when the main energy source, namely glucose, in the body has run out. Triglycerides are stored in fat cells called adipose cells.
Fasting glucose is a total examination of blood sugar levels, aims to determine the body's process of managing blood sugar when the body does not have a supply of glucose from food.
Uric acid is a nitrogenous compound which is a product of purine catabolism and is excreted mostly by the kidneys. Impaired kidney function can result in increased uric acid levels (hyperuricemia).
SGOT or Serum Glutamic Oxaloacetic Transaminase (SGOT) is an enzyme that is normally found in the liver, heart, kidneys, and brain. The purpose of the SGOT examination is to support the diagnosis to see any damage to the liver.
SGPT or Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase is an enzyme that can mostly be found in the liver. If there is damage to the liver, this enzyme will usually enter the bloodstream. Therefore, the results of the SGPT examination can be used to indicate a disturbance in the liver
Complete Urine is an examination method that uses urine to detect any disturbances in the body. Urine sample test is usually done to diagnose diseases related to the urinary tract.
Urea is a test used to assess the level of urea nitrogen in the blood, which is a residue of protein metabolism and should be excreted through the kidneys. This examination provides an evaluation of kidney function.
Creatinine is an examination of the value of creatinine in blood serum which reveals important information about a person's kidney health. Creatinine is a chemical waste product produced by muscle metabolism and a small part of meat consumption.
Total Protein is the overall protein level in serum or blood plasma which is obtained based on quantitative measurements of the concentration consisting of albumin and globulin. Albumin functions to maintain blood osmotic pressure, while globulin functions to build immunity.
Direct Bilirubin is one part of the bilirubin test. Direct bilirubin does not have to bind to other proteins to be secreted and is water soluble. Under normal circumstances, direct bilirubin will not be found in blood plasma. Increased levels of high direct bilirubin indicates the occurrence of impaired extra hepatic function (bladder).
Indirect bilirubin is one part of the bilirubin test. Indirect bilirubin must bind to other proteins (albumin) so that it can enter the liver and is insoluble in water. High levels of indirect bilirubin indicate liver damage.
Total Bilirubin is a calculation of total bilirubin levels in the blood, which can consist of direct and indirect bilirubin tests. Bilirubin comes from the breakdown of red blood cells (RBC: Red Blood Cells) in the reticuloendothelial system into heme and globin molecules. Heme is then catabolized to form biliverdin which is converted to bilirubin. Bilirubin passes through the liver and is eventually excreted by the body. Bilirubin gives a yellow color to feces and urine. High levels of elevated bilirubin indicate liver damage.
HbA1c is an examination to evaluate or monitor average blood sugar levels with a period according to the life cycle of red blood cells (erythrocytes), which is every 3 months.
HBsAg or Hepatitis B surface antigen is a screening test. Aims to detect viral antigens that cause hepatitis B infection.
Qualitative Anti-HIV is a screening for early diagnosis of HIV. This examination aims to detect the presence of specific antibodies formed by the body in response to HIV antigens (antigen-antibody response).
Total Anti-HCV or Anti-HCV is a quantitative examination to detect the presence of specific antibodies formed by the body in response to viral antigens that cause hepatitis C infection.

Asa Ren implements Laboratory Technical Problem Risk prevention procedures or Laboratory Error Standards that are effectively implemented in testing laboratories to protect and prevent against technical and operational problems although problems may still occur. Errors can occur because the User does not comply with the conditions in using the MCU Service by the User such as not complying with the conditions for fasting before sampling. Including but not limited to sample damage that may occur during delivery due to constraints such as inadequate documents, wrong labels, wrong address on the package, loss of samples at the testing laboratory or delays based on the fault of Asa Ren Partners. When the problem is encountered, Asa Ren's laboratory or our Partners may request a new sample, only for 1 re-sampling at the expense of Asa Ren or Our Partners.
